RON (Recepteur d'Origine Nantais), also known as MST1R or Macrophage Stimulating 1 Receptor, is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the MET family. It is activated by its ligand, Macrophage Stimulating Protein (MSP), leading to autophosphorylation and activation of downstream signaling pathways such as PI3K/AKT, MAPK/ERK, and PLCγ/PKC.
