Processed pseudogenes like RNA5SP209 are typically generated through reverse transcription and integration of RNA transcripts back into the genome, lacking introns and regulatory elements required for functional gene expression[6]. There is currently no evidence linking RNA5SP209 to therapeutic targeting, disease, or use as a biomarker, and it should not be classified as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or therapeutic target. In summary, RNA5SP209 is a pseudogene with no known function, disease association, or druggability. Any reference to it as a therapeutic target is incorrect.
