RNA, 7SK small nuclear pseudogene 46 (RN7SKP46)

Target
RN7SKP46
Molecular classification
Other, pseudogene, noncoding RNA pseudogene
01

Overview

RN7SK pseudogene 46 is a pseudogenic copy of the small nuclear RNA 7SK, part of a family of noncoding RNAs involved in regulating RNA polymerase II transcriptional elongation and cellular differentiation pathways[1][2][4]. However, as a pseudogene, RN7SKP46 does not produce a functional RNA product and does not have demonstrated biological activity, molecular interactions, or disease relevance. The functional, canonical, and biologically active form is RN7SK, which regulates transcription by modulating P-TEFb availability, influences cell proliferation, and can impact immune cell polarization and neuronal differentiation[1][2][3][4]. No evidence supports RN7SKP46 as a therapeutic target or as having any functional role in physiology or pathology.
