RN7SK pseudogene 75 (RN7SKP75) is a non-coding RNA pseudogene located on human chromosome 7. Pseudogenes are genomic DNA sequences similar to known genes but generally nonfunctional; RN7SKP75 is a likely nonfunctional copy derived from the RNA, 7SK small nuclear gene. There is no evidence that RN7SKP75 encodes a functional RNA or protein, nor is it associated with any well-established biological pathways, disease roles, or drug interactions. The active and functionally significant gene is RN7SK (RNA, 7SK small nuclear), which codes for a small nuclear RNA involved in transcriptional regulation, but RN7SKP75 is only one of several non-functional pseudogenes related to RN7SK. Direct research and structured databases (GeneCards, NCBI) only confirm its identity as a pseudogene and do not provide evidence for therapeutic or disease-relevant roles.
