RNA, 7SL, cytoplasmic 145, pseudogene (RN7SL145P) is a pseudogene in the human genome located on chromosome 3[6]. It is classified as a non-coding RNA pseudogene, derived from the functional 7SL RNA gene, which encodes the RNA component of the signal recognition particle (SRP)[1][5]. The SRP plays a key role in the cotranslational targeting of secretory and membrane proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum in eukaryotic cells[1][3][7].
