Pseudogenes like RN7SL167P are generally considered genetic relics: they do not produce functional RNAs or proteins, and there is currently no evidence of a direct biological or pathological role for this specific pseudogene. While some pseudogenes participate in gene regulation or act as molecular decoys in rare cases[4][6], there is no known therapeutic relevance, drug interaction, or recognized biomarker role for RN7SL167P.
