In contrast, RN7SL30P does not code for a functional RNA or protein and, similar to most pseudogenes, is not expressed at relevant levels or implicated in established cellular functions, protein interactions, or human disease mechanisms[1][2][7][8]. There is no evidence indicating that RN7SL30P acts as a therapeutic target, influences drug action, or serves as a biomarker. Its classification as a pseudogene means it is a product of gene duplication or retrotransposition events and is typically transcriptionally inactive or non-functional[1][2][6][7].
