RN7SL38P does not encode a functional product and is not considered a therapeutic target. No evidence links it to disease states, drugs, or diagnostic biomarkers. The name is accurate; it is one of many processed pseudogenes derived from the 7SL RNA gene family. Although related to an important RNA molecule involved in protein targeting (7SL RNA), this particular entry is non-functional, distinguishing it from its functional counterpart.
