RNA, 7SL, cytoplasmic 424, pseudogene (RN7SL424P) is a pseudogene derived from the 7SL RNA gene family. 7SL RNA is a highly conserved noncoding RNA component of the signal recognition particle (SRP), which is essential for guiding secretory proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum[1][4]. However, RN7SL424P is a truncated, non-functional copy of 7SL RNA and lacks protein-coding potential or known regulatory activity.
