Pseudogenes like RN7SL517P are typically non-functional copies or fragments of genes generated through genomic duplication or retrotransposition events; they generally do not encode functional products and are not considered therapeutic targets, receptors, enzymes, or transporters[4][5][6]. Human genome contains many 7SL-related pseudogenes, which exhibit considerable sequence diversity and truncation, but only a small subset encode functional 7SL RNA[5][6]. There is no evidence this specific pseudogene is involved in disease, drug interactions, molecular targeting, or used in biomarkers or safety assessments.
