RN7SL666P, or RNA, 7SL, cytoplasmic 666, pseudogene, is a human processed pseudogene derived from the 7SL RNA, which is the RNA component of the signal recognition particle (SRP)[1][5]. Pseudogenes like RN7SL666P do not code for functional proteins, and most 7SL-related pseudogenes are transcriptionally inactive; a minority of pseudogenes in general may generate transcripts with regulatory potential, but there is no evidence for such a function for this specific pseudogene[1][5][6]. RN7SL666P is not considered a therapeutic target, enzyme, receptor, transporter, or transcription factor, and does not have established drug interactions, disease relevance, or use as a biomarker.
