Hundreds of such pseudogenes exist in the human genome, arising by reverse transcription and reintegration of 7SL RNA or its truncations, with considerable structural diversity and little, if any, protein-coding capacity[7]. While the parental 7SL RNA sequence is critical for protein sorting and translation regulation, its pseudogenes—such as RN7SL732P—have unclear biological roles, though some pseudogenes may participate in regulatory RNA networks or serve as sources of small siRNAs or epigenetic modulators[4]. There is no evidence that RN7SL732P plays a role in disease, interacts with drugs, or is used as a biomarker, and it is not referenced as a canonical therapeutic target.
