RNA, 7SL, cytoplasmic 783, pseudogene (RN7SL783P) is a processed pseudogene corresponding to 7SL RNA, the RNA component of the signal recognition particle (SRP), but it does not encode any functional protein or receptor and is not considered a therapeutic target. In the human genome, hundreds of 7SL pseudogenes exist; most are nonfunctional genomic relics generated by reverse transcription and integration of 7SL RNA into DNA.
