RNA, Ro-associated Y4 pseudogene 13 (RNY4P13) is classified as a pseudogene and a non-coding RNA located in the human genome[3][4][5][6][8]. As a pseudogene, it shares high sequence similarity with the functional Ro-associated Y4 (RNY4) RNA, which is a member of the Y RNA family involved in the Ro ribonucleoprotein complex, but does not itself code for a functional product and is not known to play an active biological role[3][4][6][8]. There is no evidence that RNY4P13 is a therapeutic target, nor is it associated with any specific physiological function, disease process, or drug interaction. Y RNAs in general are involved in processes like DNA replication, RNA quality control, and may have roles in cancer and other diseases[2], but RNY4P13, as a pseudogene, is not implicated in these functions and is not therapeutically actionable.
