RNA, U2 small nuclear 34, pseudogene (RNU2-34P) is a member of the U2 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) pseudogene family. U2 snRNAs are key components of the spliceosome involved in pre-mRNA splicing; however, pseudogenes like RNU2-34P are typically nonfunctional copies of these genes and are not transcribed into functional RNA or protein. As a pseudogene, RNU2-34P lacks demonstrated biological function, is not a therapeutic target, is not associated with disease roles, and does not have known drug interactions or biomarker relevance[1][4].
