Target intelligence / Profile preview
RNA, U4 small nuclear 65, pseudogene (RNU4-65P) is a non-protein-coding pseudogene annotated in the human genome. It does not produce a functional small nuclear RNA or protein. While functional U4 snRNA is an essential component of the spliceosome in RNA splicing and is implicated in neurodevelopmental disorders when mutated (such as RNU4-2), RNU4-65P itself is considered non-functional and has no biological, pharmacological, or clinical relevance as a therapeutic target[1][5][7].
