RNA, U4 small nuclear 75, pseudogene (RNU4-75P) is annotated as a *pseudogene* of U4 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) family members. U4 snRNA is typically an essential non-coding RNA component of the spliceosome complex required for pre-mRNA splicing, with well-characterized functional genes such as RNU4-2 and RNU4-1. However, pseudogenes like RNU4-75P are generally non-functional DNA segments resulting from the duplication or retrotransposition of functional snRNA genes, showing sequence similarity but lacking biological activity. There is no evidence that RNU4-75P is expressed or functional in human cells, and it is not associated with any therapeutic targeting, drug interaction, or disease mechanism. Related functional snRNAs (e.g., RNU4-2) have been implicated in human genetic disorders when mutated, but this does *not* apply to pseudogenes such as RNU4-75P[1][3][6][7].
