RNA, U6 small nuclear 1077, pseudogene (RNU6-1077P) is a non-functional genomic sequence in humans derived from retrotransposition or segmental duplication of the U6 small nuclear RNA (snRNA) gene. Like other snRNA pseudogenes, it does not encode a functional transcript and does not participate directly in cellular processes such as mRNA splicing, signal transduction, or disease pathways. These pseudogenes are formed via retrotransposition, often mediated by LINE (Long Interspersed Nuclear Element) activity, but are best understood as evolutionary relics without current function. No biological activity, drug interactions, or clinical utility are recognized for this entity.
