Target intelligence / Profile preview
RNA, U6 small nuclear 111, pseudogene (RNU6-111P) is a non-coding RNA gene classified as a pseudogene of U6 small nuclear RNA. It does not code for a functional protein or RNA product. U6 snRNA, from which it is derived, is a core component of the spliceosome involved in pre-mRNA splicing, but RNU6-111P itself contains mutations or structural changes preventing its function. It is one of many U6 snRNA pseudogenes dispersed throughout the human genome and is not considered a therapeutic target or functional participant in cellular processes[2][4][6].
