U6 snRNA participates in the catalysis of intron removal from pre-mRNA, but pseudogenes like RNU6-140P are typically non-functional genomic elements arising from gene duplication or retrotransposition and do not encode functional snRNA molecules[3]. Pseudogenes are abundant in the human genome; although some pseudogenes have reported regulatory roles, there is no evidence that RNU6-140P is functional, disease-associated, or a druggable target[4]. RNU6-140P is not a functional gene or drug target. There is no evidence of biological, clinical, or therapeutic significance for this specific pseudogene, and it is not considered a protein, receptor, or molecular target in any therapeutic context.
