RNU6-150P is a pseudogene sequence associated with the U6 small nuclear RNA family. U6 snRNA is a critical noncoding RNA component of the spliceosome that catalyzes splicing of pre-mRNA in eukaryotic cells[3][1]. Pseudogenes like RNU6-150P are DNA sequences similar to functional genes but are not expected to produce active molecules due to disabling mutations or truncations, and are generally considered nonfunctional genomic fossils[2][4]. There is no evidence that RNU6-150P is translated, acts as a functional receptor, enzyme, or other therapeutic target, nor that it is directly implicated in human disease or interacts with any approved drugs[4][3][5][1].
