Target intelligence / Profile preview
RNU6-336P (RNA, U6 small nuclear 336, pseudogene) is a human pseudogene annotated in databases such as Ensembl (ENSG00000201761) and NCBI Gene (106481285), located on chromosome 8 (22,434,391-22,434,497 forward strand)[1][5][7][8]. Pseudogenes are non-functional gene sequences, often related to normal genes, that have lost their ability to encode functional products due to mutations and deletions. Unlike functional U6 snRNA loci, RNU6-336P does not produce splicing RNAs and has no known biological or disease role. It is not considered a therapeutic target.
