RNU6-364P (RNA, U6 small nuclear 364, pseudogene) is a member of the U6 snRNA pseudogene family in the human genome[4][5]. U6 snRNA itself is a highly conserved, non-coding RNA critical for the splicing of pre-mRNA in the spliceosome complex[1][3]. However, RNU6-364P does not encode a functional RNA and is not transcribed into a biologically active molecule. Pseudogenes like RNU6-364P are generally considered genetically inert, are not associated with protein production, and have no current links to disease or therapeutic applications. There are no known drug interactions, biomarker roles, or clinical implications for this pseudogene.
