Pseudogenes like RNU6-743P typically lack protein-coding potential and are not considered receptors, enzymes, or direct therapeutic targets. There is currently no evidence that RNU6-743P acts as a biomarker, interacts with drugs, or has a recognized role in disease or therapy. Some pseudogenes can regulate their parental genes or act as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs) in specific biological contexts, but such a function has not been described for RNU6-743P specifically[1][2].
