RNA, U7 small nuclear 125 pseudogene (RNU7-125P) is classified as a pseudogene related to the U7 small nuclear RNA gene family[1][5][6]. However, pseudogene copies like RNU7-125P lack this biological activity. RNU7-125P does not code for a functional RNA or protein and lacks biological or therapeutic relevance as a target molecule. There is some ambiguity in synonyms in public databases, but RNU7-125P and RNU7-135P both denote pseudogenes[5]. There are no reported drugs, molecular functions, biomarkers, or disease associations for this pseudogene. It should not be considered a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or any recognized therapeutic target.
