Target intelligence / Profile preview
RNU7-173P (RNA, U7 small nuclear 173 pseudogene) is a human noncoding RNA pseudogene related to the U7 small nuclear RNA family. U7 snRNA is functionally important for histone pre-mRNA 3′-end processing, but RNU7-173P is annotated as a pseudogene, meaning it is a genomic remnant that does not produce a functional RNA or protein. There is no current evidence linking RNU7-173P to biological processes, disease, or drug mechanisms, and it is not regarded as a therapeutic target.[5][7][8]
