Target intelligence / Profile preview
RNA, U7 small nuclear 180 pseudogene (RNU7-180P) is a pseudogene related to the U7 small nuclear RNA (U7 snRNA) family[4]. Pseudogenes are non-coding genomic segments derived from an ancestral gene that has lost its ability to produce a functional product. The active form, U7 snRNA (encoded by RNU7-1), is a small nuclear RNA participating in histone pre-mRNA processing, but RNU7-180P itself is not involved in this process and has no established biological function, disease association, or therapeutic relevance[1][3][4].
