Target intelligence / Profile preview
RNA, U7 small nuclear 183 pseudogene (RNU7-183P) is a non-protein-coding pseudogene related to the U7 small nuclear RNA family. The functional U7 snRNA is a component of the U7 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (snRNP) complex, which is essential for histone pre-mRNA processing[1][3][4]. Pseudogenes in general may have subtle regulatory functions (such as acting as competing endogenous RNAs in some contexts), but there is no evidence of such activity for RNU7-183P[2][6]. RNU7-183P is not considered a molecular target for therapy, nor is it known to play a role in human disease, signaling, or cell function.
None applicable.
