Target intelligence / Profile preview
SH3GL1P1 (SH3 domain containing GRB2 like 1, endophilin A2 pseudogene 1), also referenced as CNSA-P1, is a pseudogene, meaning it is a segment of DNA that resembles a gene but does not encode a functional protein. It is related by sequence similarity to the SH3GL1 gene, which encodes endophilin A2, a protein involved in endocytosis and membrane trafficking in cells. SH3GL1P1 is thus believed to be a nonfunctional genomic remnant and is not a known drug target, functional receptor, or enzyme relevant in human disease or therapy[3][4].
