Syntabulin's functions are critical to neuronal health and synapse formation, and the protein is expressed in a range of neuronal and non-neuronal tissues, reflecting its diverse cellular functions[2][5][6]. Note: Syntabulin is a trafficking scaffold protein, not a classic therapeutic target (receptor, enzyme, ion channel, etc.), and no clinically approved drugs directly target it. Its biological relevance is mainly in synaptic biology and neurological disease research[2][6].
