Human CD4+ T-cell receptors (TCRs) recognizing Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) peptides are specialized heterodimeric surface proteins that play a pivotal role in the adaptive immune response against TBEV infection. The diversity and specificity of the TBEV-specific TCR repertoire are key determinants of an individual's ability to clear the virus and avoid severe complications like encephalitis or meningitis.
