Overview

Lutetium-177 (^177Lu) conjugated peptides target tumor cells by binding to overexpressed receptors. Upon internalization, ^177Lu emits beta particles, causing DNA damage and cell death. Selectivity is achieved through peptide affinity for specific tumor-associated receptors. Gamma co-emission enables imaging for theranostic applications.
