ŌNŌCOR

ŌNŌCOR is a private U.S. medical technology company developing catheter-based retrieval devices for structural heart and other cardiovascular interventions. Its lead and apparently core product is the ŌNŌ Retrieval Device, an endovascular system designed to receive, align, compress, and remove misplaced, embolized, or otherwise suboptimal cardiovascular devices and other material from the vascular system. The company positions the product as a safety tool for catheterization labs intended to reduce the need for remedial open surgical procedures during complex transcatheter interventions. ŌNŌ received FDA clearance in May 2022, and ŌNŌCOR later entered an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with B. Braun Interventional Systems to support commercialization. Published and announced use cases include retrieval during structural heart interventions, intracardiac tumor excision, atrial thrombus removal, and failed mitral clip procedures followed by transcatheter valve replacement.
