Haisco-Sirnaomics is a joint venture established by Haisco Pharmaceutical Group and Sirnaomics to develop and commercialize RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics in Greater China. The company utilizes Sirnaomics' proprietary Polypeptide Nanoparticle (PNP) delivery platform, which enables the effective delivery of small interfering RNA (siRNA) to target tissues. Its lead product candidate, STP705, is a dual-targeting siRNA designed to inhibit the expression of both TGF-β1 and COX-2, which are key drivers in fibrosis and oncology. STP705 is currently in Phase 2 clinical development for various indications, including non-melanoma skin cancer and hypertrophic scars. By leveraging Haisco's extensive clinical and commercial infrastructure in China alongside Sirnaomics' technical expertise, the company aims to address significant unmet medical needs in the region. The partnership represents a strategic effort to bring advanced gene-silencing technologies to the Chinese market.
