Neutron Science (Chongqing) Research Institute is a specialized research and development organization focused on the advancement of Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) technology. Located in the Western Science City of Chongqing, the institute focuses on developing high-intensity accelerator-based neutron sources and associated medical devices for precision cancer treatment. Its primary mission involves the localization and industrialization of BNCT equipment to provide a non-invasive therapeutic option for refractory tumors such as gliomas and melanomas. The institute operates as a key component of the Phoenix Science (FDS Team) ecosystem, leveraging extensive expertise in nuclear physics and radiation protection. By integrating research, equipment manufacturing, and clinical application, it aims to establish a leading BNCT industrial cluster in China.
