Guangzhou Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical Factory was a state-owned pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Guangzhou, China, specializing in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and chemical drug formulations. The company was a subsidiary of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited (GPHL) and was widely recognized for its Zhongsheng brand of over-the-counter products. Its portfolio featured prominent treatments such as Compound Danshen Tablets for cardiovascular health and Vitamin C Yinqiao Tablets for respiratory symptoms. In 1996, as part of a strategic consolidation within GPHL, the factory was merged into Guangzhou Baiyunshan Mingxing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The legacy of the Zhongsheng brand continues today through the ongoing production and distribution of its core products by the successor entity.
