Zhixin Haozheng is a clinical-stage biotechnology company specializing in regenerative medicine and cell therapy for metabolic diseases. The company leverages a proprietary chemically induced pluripotent stem cell (CiPSC) platform, pioneered by Professor Deng Hongkui, to develop functional islet cells for the treatment of diabetes. Its lead program involves the transplantation of iPSC-derived islet cells to restore insulin independence in patients with Type 1 diabetes. Unlike traditional methods, the CiPSC technology uses small molecules to reprogram cells, offering enhanced safety and standardization.
