Shenzhen Arimab Biopharmaceuticals (also known as Shenzhen Ruidi Biomedical) is a joint venture established in 2018 by Shenzhen Hepalink Pharmaceutical Group and Aridis Pharmaceuticals. The company is dedicated to developing and commercializing fully human monoclonal antibody therapies for severe, antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections in the Greater China region. Its lead clinical candidate is tosatoxumab (AR-301), a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting Staphylococcus aureus alpha-toxin, which is currently in Phase 3 global multi-center clinical trials for ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). Additionally, the company is developing AR-101, a monoclonal antibody targeting Pseudomonas aeruginosa lipopolysaccharide serotype O11 for hospital-acquired and ventilator-associated pneumonia. By leveraging immunotherapies that complement standard-of-care antibiotics, the company aims to address the critical global challenge of antimicrobial resistance.
