Overview
Procizumab, a first-in-class humanized monoclonal antibody targeting cDPP3, has demonstrated non-clinical efficacy and safety in three independent models. The company plans to initiate a Phase 1b/2a trial in cardiogenic shock patients with elevated cDPP3 in Q1 2025. This will establish dosing for subsequent pivotal Phase 2/3 proof-of-concept studies. The harmful role of cDPP3 has been validated as a prognostic marker and causal factor across more than 100,000 patients and multiple indications related to circulatory failure/shock. Clinical results are early-stage but promising based on preclinical data.
