Company intelligence / Profile preview
SQI Diagnostics was a Canadian life sciences company that developed and commercialized proprietary technologies for advanced microarray diagnostics. Its primary platform, IgX PLEX, allowed for the simultaneous and automated analysis of multiple biomarkers, including proteins and antibodies, from a single sample. The company's product portfolio included the SQiDworks automated system and various diagnostic tests for COVID-19 severity (RALI-Dx), rheumatoid arthritis, and lung transplant monitoring (TOR-dx). Despite achieving regulatory clearances in Canada, the U.S., and Europe, SQI Diagnostics faced severe financial difficulties and announced a voluntary assignment in bankruptcy in June 2023. As of early 2026, the company remains listed on the NEX board of the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol SQD.H, though its operations have largely ceased following the enforcement of security by its senior creditor.
