A-Bio Pharma

A-Bio Pharma was a Singapore-based contract manufacturing organization (CMO) specializing in the production of biologics, including monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins. Founded in 2002 by Bio*One Capital, the company established itself as a key player in Asia's growing biotechnology sector by providing process development and large-scale manufacturing services. In 2006, A-Bio Pharma was acquired by Lonza, a global leader in the life sciences industry, to expand Lonza's mammalian cell culture capacity in the Asia-Pacific region. The facility became a core part of Lonza's Singapore operations, supporting global pharmaceutical clients. The acquisition marked a significant milestone in Singapore's effort to become a global hub for biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
