A-Level Capital

A-Level Capital is a student-run venture capital fund founded in 2015 with the mission of empowering entrepreneurship within the Johns Hopkins University ecosystem by providing early-stage funding—primarily pre-seed and seed rounds—to startups led by JHU alumni or affiliates. While industry-agnostic overall, they have recently launched a biotech investing initiative reflecting their connection to JHU’s medical research strengths. The fund does not develop drugs or technologies itself but supports innovative healthcare/life science ventures among others through financial backing and talent placement opportunities for students. It is active, independent—not acquired—and based in Baltimore, Maryland.
