Aanjaneya Lifecare was a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company based in India, primarily focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage forms. The company gained prominence for its extensive portfolio of anti-malarial drugs, particularly those based on Artemisinin derivatives. Beyond infectious diseases, Aanjaneya produced generics for various therapeutic areas, including the central nervous system and lifestyle-related conditions. It operated manufacturing facilities in Mahad and Hyderabad, catering to both domestic and international markets. Following 2013, the company encountered significant financial difficulties and regulatory issues with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), leading to its eventual suspension from major stock exchanges. Today, the company is largely defunct and no longer a major player in the life sciences industry.
