Founded as a production facility for the German company abcr GmbH, it focuses on the synthesis of fine chemicals, specialty materials, and organometallic compounds, particularly silicon-based chemistry. The company provides services ranging from R&D and process development to scale-up and large-scale commercial production, handling quantities from grams to tonnes. As a joint venture partially owned by Evonik Industries, ABCR Laboratorios serves global clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and materials science sectors. Its 6,000 square meter facility is equipped for complex chemical processes including Grignard reactions, hydrosilylation, and Suzuki coupling.
