ABISS

ABISS, officially Analytic BioSurgical Solutions, is a French medical device company focused on the design, manufacture, and commercialization of implantable surgical devices and prostheses. The company develops surgeon-informed implants for abdominal wall repair and pelvic floor disorders, including products for hernias, eventration, female stress urinary incontinence, and prolapse. ABISS combines in-house engineering, clean-room manufacturing, and clinical collaboration with surgical teams to tailor device design to anatomy, function, and operative technique. In September 2024, ABISS was acquired by RUA Life Sciences and now operates as a French subsidiary within RUA’s medical device group. The business appears to be commercial-stage rather than a therapeutics developer, with marketed device product lines and contract manufacturing capabilities.
