Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center has established itself as the UAE's leading center for advanced cellular therapies. It has achieved several regional firsts—including the manufacture of UAE’s first clinical-grade CAR-T cells to treat pediatric leukemia patients—and reported promising results using umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells to treat type 1 diabetes. The center also developed virus-free clinical-grade induced pluripotent stem cells compliant with international GMP standards—the first such achievement in the Middle East—enabling future personalized regenerative therapies. ADSCC operates state-of-the-art laboratories with full GMP capabilities and runs both commercial treatments and translational research programs across a range of hematological malignancies, autoimmune conditions, neurodegenerative diseases, metabolic disorders like diabetes, rare genetic conditions such as thalassemia/sickle-cell anemia. It collaborates strategically with major healthcare providers to expand access to bone marrow transplants/cellular therapies regionally.
