Academic Hospital Paramaribo (AZP) is the largest and most specialized medical facility in Suriname, serving as the nation's primary teaching hospital. Located in the capital city, it provides a wide array of secondary and tertiary healthcare services, including advanced cardiology, oncology, and intensive care. The institution is closely integrated with the Anton de Kom University of Suriname, facilitating the clinical training of medical students and healthcare professionals.
