The company's portfolio was anchored by its proprietary branded ingredients, SoyLife (a soy-derived isoflavone complex) and LinumLife (a flax-derived lignan extract), which were marketed for their benefits in hormonal balance and cardiovascular health. Acatris differentiated itself through a focus on clinical research and regulatory compliance, providing standardized phytochemicals for use in dietary supplements. In October 2006, the company was acquired by Frutarom Industries for approximately $14.2 million, a move that significantly expanded Frutarom's presence in the health ingredients sector.
