Overview
Acorda developed two FDA-approved commercial products—Ampyra® for MS-related walking impairment and Inbrija® for Parkinson’s OFF episodes. Both drugs demonstrated efficacy in pivotal trials leading to regulatory approval. The company also advanced a pipeline including a remyelinating antibody program and an inhaled migraine therapy using its proprietary ARCUS platform. As of July–August 2024, all commercial products and key technologies were sold to Merz Therapeutics following Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
