Acusis

Acusis was a private healthcare services and healthcare IT company focused on outsourced clinical documentation, medical transcription, medical coding, medical billing, collections, tumor registry, and related revenue cycle support for hospitals, clinics, and physician practices. The business was founded in 2001 and was headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with operations spanning the U.S., India, and the Philippines. Rather than developing therapeutic products, Acusis provided technology-enabled workflow and documentation services intended to improve capture, exchange, storage, and management of patient-care records and administrative data. In March 2022, Acusis was acquired by AQuity Solutions, and it appears to now operate as part of the parent organization rather than as an independent active company.
